Use one currency for every debt. Currency selection changes labels only; it does not convert amounts. Estimates use monthly APR ÷ 12 and assume rates and payments stay fixed.

Mortgage renewal: this fixed-rate debt model is not a mortgage-renewal or amortization calculator. Rates and payments can change at renewal. Use your lender’s figures or an official mortgage calculator.

Calculator entries stay in this browser’s local storage. On a shared device, use “Clear my saved data” when finished.

Spreadsheet product

Payoff Path Debt & Budget Planner

Organize debts, monthly budgets and bills in one Excel workbook. Compare avalanche and snowball estimates, track actual progress, and follow the included START HERE guide and beginner tutorial.

$17 USD · one-time purchase · applicable taxes calculated at checkout

See how the spreadsheet works. Lemon Squeezy is the primary website checkout; Etsy purchases and delivery stay entirely within Etsy.

How it works

1. Use exact statements

Enter current balances, APRs, and minimum payments from one recent statement period.

2. Pick a strategy

Avalanche targets the highest APR; snowball targets the smallest current balance.

3. Keep one monthly budget

When a debt is cleared, its freed payment rolls to the next target in the estimate.

4. Confirm with lenders

Fees, daily interest, rate changes, lender rules, and missed payments can change actual results.

Common questions

Does Payoff Path upload my debt figures?

No. Calculations run locally and entries are stored in your browser. The site host still processes ordinary web requests; see the Privacy Policy.

What results does it show?

It shows an estimated payoff month and year, time remaining in years and months, estimated interest, comparison with minimum-only payments, and an estimated payoff order.

What is included with the spreadsheet?

The $17 USD purchase includes the Excel workbook, START HERE PDF guide and beginner tutorial video. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

Which currency should I choose?

Choose the currency used by all debts in this plan. The calculator does not perform exchange-rate conversion.

Can I use it for a mortgage renewal?

Not as a renewal forecast. The calculator assumes the entered APR and payment remain fixed. Mortgage rates and payments may change at the end of a term; see our Canadian mortgage-renewal guide.

Is the estimate exact?

No. It uses a simplified monthly model. Actual lender calculations and payoff quotes can differ.
